The spot featured on the cover of Slam #235 is located in London, known as The Mall.
With Trafalgar Square at one end and Buckingham Palace at the other, rumour has it that Englishmen are scared to skate the ancient regal stone, for fear of persecution by the Monarchy and charges of treason. This fear has left the spot virtually untouched with only one Welshman, Chris Jones, hitting it with a frontside boardslide in complete defiance of the English.
In reality though, that rumour is a load of shit.
